The board of the Bristol View Homeowners' Association met on
September 11, 2007, at the home of Marilyn Steane. Present also were Bert
Stanley, Warren Knapp, Bill Tomlinson and Gloria Wilner
The minutes of the last meeting, recorded by Warren, were accepted.
Sinkholes and asphalt:
The Town of Perinton is at least a month late in giving us the promised results
of their televised investigation of some of our problem areas. Ways of
ameliorating that situation were discussed, and it was decided that--while this
is not our preferred way of scheduling--some work will be started now before
changing weather becomes an impediment.
No. 38 BV and No. 58 BV will be resurfaced; No. 52 BV will be repaired and then
sealed. Wall work at No. 46 BV has been completed.
Landscape:
Bill Tomlinson will meet with One Step about "greener" products for our
properties. Bert will also
talk with Davey Tree about the pruning vs. removal of overgrown trees on BV
eyebrows. Trees will be evaluated on a tree-by-tree basis, with an opportunity
for resident input.
Chris Andrews has left Pat Fasano's employ and set up his own business. Chris welcomes requests for his
services and can be reached at 766-9079 as well as at cmandrews@frontiernet.net.
The information on our website regarding approved exterior paint and/or stain
from Hadlock's will be updated as color names and numbers have changed.
There were no certificates of architectural compliance.
A summary of the first half of the year's financial statement will be mailed to
members, along with other materials for the annual meeting to be held on
Monday, September 24 at Casa Larga.
Respectfully submitted,
Gloria Wilner, recording secretary
