The Bristol View HOA board met on Wednesday, October 10, 2006, at the home of Gloria Wilner

Present: Gary Aron, Bert Stanley, Warren Knapp, Marilyn Steane, Bill Tomlinson, and Gloria Wilner

 

Minutes of the August 3, 2006 meeting were approved.

 

In September, the board completed the first part of a walk-through inspection of backyards, the purpose of which was to check landscaping, decks, and under-deck storage. The overwhelming impression was that the areas are well cared for and attractive. Our notes  were reviewed and any resident whose property came to our attention will be contacted by Bill Tomlinson.  Landscaping corrections have been made. The remainder of the walk-through will be scheduled as weather permits.

 

Sinkholes/Asphalt:   Repairs have been completed at the following driveways - #36 BVD (DiPietro), #48 BVD (Ressler), #50 (Weinstein), #7 SpR (Curtis). Driveways at #38 BVD (Littwitz) and #60 BVD (Sarkis) are the responsibility of the Town of Perinton. These two have not been repaired but the town has promised to do so this season.

 

Stacy Estrich of Backyard Secrets:  It is necessary to replace Stacy, who has accepted another position. A highly qualified botanist, Stacy will be missed, but we wish her well. Bert is checking referrals for arborists and landscape people.

 

Budget for 2007:  The financial statement for the first nine months of this year was reviewed under Bill Tomlinson's guidance. Warren Knapp will get a draft budget from Bill.

 

Agenda suggestions:  In Spring we will revisit the issue of extremely steep mowing places with a view toward replanting the worst of those areas with a fast-growing ground cover.

 

Next board meeting:  The date and place for the November 2006 meeting has not been determined at this time.
