The BVHOA board met on May 10, 2006 at the home of Bert Stanley.

Present were: Gary Aron, John Flowers, Warren Knapp, Bert Stanley,
Bill Tomlinson, and Gloria Wilner

Minutes for the last meeting, held on April 12, were approved and
accepted.

Architecture: A recurring sinkhole in the driveway of 60 Bristol View
Drive
has been reported. While repairs have been made on four
previous occasions, further research will now be done to see what
other steps need to be taken.

Landscaping: The addition of a carport roof to a parking lot of
commercial property on the southeast side  on Woodcliff Drive has
necessitated the screening of that view from some of the houses in
our development. There are trees in place that provide for that, but
there remains an open space that needs to be filled. A relatively
small amount of additional trees will need to be planted; the
property manager of the office building has expressed a willingness
to be cooperative.

Residents are reminded that the planting of vegetables is restricted
to areas not visible from the street, and that good neighbors consult
with adjacent residents to ensure their agreement.

Overgrown or otherwise unwanted trees have been, and continue to be,
removed. Some will be replaced, other spaces are best left open.

Reimbursement will be made for the watering of shared central plantings.

Additional solutions for gutter screening is being looked into.

Annual meeting: Scheduled for 7 pm (social time) and 7:30 pm
(business meeting) at Casa Larga's Tirage Room, on Monday, June 12,
2006
.
The terms of three positions on the board will have ended, and
residents are welcome to volunteer for election.

Well in advance of this meeting, residents will have received--in the
newsletter sent to all by Bill Tomlinson--absentee ballots (instead
of proxy votes)  and candidate forms. Anyone who wishes to run for
the board will fill out  the candidate form and return it to Bill,
who  will  make them available to all, by mail,  prior to the meeting.
Nominations will also be taken from the floor.

The next meeting of the BVHOA board will be June 12, at Casa Larga,
after the close of the annual meeting.

Respectfully submitted,

Gloria Wilner, recording secretary
