Minutes of the 12 September Board meeting were reviewed and approved.

3rd Qtr, 2008 financials were reviewed. We are about on plan for the year to date.

Before deciding upon the size of the planned special assessment for 2009 as discussed at the Annual Meeting, it was agreed to review and updae the expected costs of all known community needs and plan for them.

The trimming of all deciduous trees  by Davey Tree will be done mid-winter to minimize the cost. The irrigation system for the two entrance garden sets is expected to be installed in the next month. 

Bill is pursuing options to resolve the drainage issues affecting the walks at two homes. He will also pursue options for replacing our aging mailbox stands including a company he has done business with before for another development.

On the community website, a revised Residents List will be installed and the "New Residents" page will be deleted since it becomes obsolete so soon after being posted.  Chris Andrews' contact information will be added to the website along with a note advising of the pricing of his sidewalk shoveling option.

The next Board meeting will be held on November 18th at 2PM at Bert Stanley home . The focus of that meeting will be the 2009 budget which must be finalized by the first of December to allow time for resident notification.
